Study of gas streaming in a deep fluidized bed containing Geldart's Group A particles

摘要: Abstract The nature of gas streaming in a deep fluidized bed containing Geldart's Group A powder has been investigated 30-cm ID cold flow unit. Pressure fluctuations have measured at 8 locations from 4 to 150 cm above the distributor for depths and velocities ranging 0.4 1.6 m 0.04 0.20 m/s, respectively. In order study effect fines content on streaming, two particle size distributions with Sauter mean diameters 48 84 μm were tested each depth velocity. Two plates differing percentage open area also their influence streaming. Analysis pressure time frequency domains, combination visual observations show that emerges gradually greater than 1 m. Increased velocity act delay onset but cannot completely eliminate it over range examined. different designs had no measurable flow.
