摘要: We demonstrated experimentally and theoretically the principle to control discotic morphology of particles with a layered internal structure. The packing surfactants tailored curvature set shape elastic membrane produced as surface emulsions crystallized via freezing. Using these membranes nuclei, from centre, forming final disks could be either biconcave or flat circular depending on defect structures layers. confirmed that aspect ratio controlled by varying co-surfactant concentration surface. also showed anisotropic is vital their self-assembling behaviours. This organization molecules colloids offers novel routes for soft material design, fabrication, utilization at micro-scales.
