摘要: Background: Spinal haemangioblastomas are rare benign but potentially devastating vascular tumours. They may occur sporadically or as a component of Von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) disease. There is dearth information about these tumours among Nigerians. This study aims to evaluate the clinical profile and outcome surgery well challenges management in resource-limited country. Methods: We retrospectively analysed data from records patients who had for spinal haemangioblastoma at our center between January 2004 December 2018. Results: operated 2 cases during period (1 male, 1 female). The were aged 25 50 years. Both presented with sensorimotor deficits only one them sphincteric dysfunction. duration symptoms was weeks patient 18 months other. tumour located thoracic region both them. One extramedullary while an intramedullary tumour. paraplegic time surgery, 3 days more than 4 second patient. Gross total resection achieved individual. short made rapid post-operative neurological improvement long remained until his demise 9 after surgery. Conclusion: Long location predictors unfavorable surgical outcome. Keywords: Haemangioblastoma, cord, Nigerian, Surgery, Outcome
