摘要: Abstract A recent investigation by Beardmore et al. (Trans. Met. Soc. AIME230, 725 (1964)) showed a sharp rise in resistivity and stored energy the range 290–370 kb on shock-loading initially ordered Cu3,Au, but not with disordered alloy. Using samples from that investigation, optical transmission microscopy X-ray diffraction were employed to study substructure. Specimens also deformed ordinary tension at 77°K 298°K for comparison. There was no sudden increase dislocation densities or marked change arrangement shock-loaded specimens corresponding resistivity. The both initial states similar of order 1011 per cm2 after shock 370 kb, only about 30 cent greater than found tensile testing Cu3Au same strain.
