Expectation, perceived quality and satisfaction of Nigerian tourist in Malaysia

摘要: Tourism is currently recognized as the second largest income generating industry in global economy, particularly a driver for economic development and poverty reduction. The primary objective of this research to empirically validate reasons continuous increase Nigerians Malaysia despite their negative image by testing relationship between Nigerian tourist’s expectation, actual experience satisfaction with Malaysian tourism products. A theoretical framework was developed based on literature review, test above relationship. Importantly, tourist’s expectation perceived quality were considered critical antecedents satisfaction. In quantitative study, survey 108 students analysed through SPSS, constituting an overall 43% response rate. findings indicated that four hypothesized relationships supported: tourist expectation positively related quality, while also mediates tourists’ Key benefits practitioners academics discussed under practical implications, example, availing manager implications establishing expectations before designing service standards.
