摘要: This paper presents a low-profile and broadband continuous transverse stub (CTS) antenna array with partially-corporate feed, demonstrating high efficiency low cross-polarization. The comprises eight radiating slots is fed by uniform partiallycorporate parallel-plate-waveguide (PPW) network combined novel linear source generator (LSG) of quasi-TEM mode. LSG constructed four jagged-cavity groups excited an H-plane ridged-rectangular-waveguide power divider. By using the feed structure, conventional multi-layer PPW reduced to single-layer one. bulky pillbox coupler in designs eliminated profile CTS effectively. For demonstration, prototype at Ka-band designed, fabricated measured. proposed well matched (with reflection coefficient less than −13 dB) over frequency range 34 41GHz. Excellent agreement found between simulations measurements. A 83% cross-polarization −35dB are achieved entire bandwidth. demonstrated features low-profile, aperture may find applications multi-Gbps point-to-point wireless communications.
