摘要: Inducible costimulator (ICOS) is a new member of the CD28/CTLA-4 family that expressed on activated and germinal center (GC) T cells. Recently, we reported ICOS-deficient mice exhibited profound defects in cell activation effector function. Ab responses T-dependent primary reaction murine asthma model were also diminished. In current study, investigate mechanism by which ICOS regulates humoral immunity examine B GC reactions absence ICOS. We found ICOS(-/-) mice, when immunized with SRBC, had smaller GCs. Furthermore, IgG1 class switching GCs was impaired. Remarkably, formation response to secondary recall challenge completely absent knockout mice. These data establish critical role regulation immunity.
