摘要: Seed plant species exhibit marked differences in sensitivity to the growth retardant N,N-dimethylaminosuccinamic acid (B-995), with monocotyledons generally reported be insensitive chemical. The purpose of this investigation was ascertain whether differential B-995 is correlated relative capacities different plants translocate or degrade chemical metabolically. Carbon-14-labeled administered aqueous solution through cut stem bases shoots three monocotyledonous (Sasa sp., Convallaria majalis, and Zantedeschia sp.) readily translocated throughout shoots, as determined by autoradiography.
