摘要: Abstract In this work we report the preparation, characterization, thermal and luminescence properties of highly luminescent polycaprolactone (PCL) polymer films incorporated with diaquatris(thenoyltrifluoroacetonate)europium(III) complex [Eu(tta)3(H2O)2] (doping concentration at 1, 2, 5, 10 15 wt%). Thermogravimetry analysis (TGA) showed no weight loss in range 323–473 K for polymeric systems, suggesting that interaction between matrix Eu3+-complex occurs when carbonyl groups along backbone substitute water molecules precursor. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) significant changes Tm film samples, however crystallinity is affected by non combined chains. The curve-fitted FTIR spectral areas each component peak are gradually changed increase doping concentration. displacement C–O β-diketonate to new positions PCLE systems provide good evidence metal ion coordinated through oxygen atoms deriving from PCL. observation characteristic emission bands arising 5D0→7FJ transitions (J=0–4) dominated hypersensitive 5D0→7F2 transition around 614 nm Eu3+ indicates incorporation ions system corroborating CHN IR data. Luminescence quenching observed, 5% complexes showing highest intensity among all samples.
