摘要: Abstract The main objective of the current study is to investigate whether surfaces produced by a standardized roller compaction method, using several modes, could be used simulate frictional properties as-constructed pavement new, full-scale hot mix asphalt (HMA) road test section. Laboratory and field friction measurements were compared. characteristics mixtures with different aggregate sizes, gradations binder contents investigated. Results indicated that laboratory method closely simulates, from point view, construction processes. Thus, this methodology may integrated into existing design practices assess optimize accounting for both structural functional requirements.
