摘要: This paper describes the implementation of a Title IV-E child welfare training program in Louisiana. A collaborative arrangement between state agency and seven university social work programs provides for student monetary stipends return as public employees upon graduation. On test knowledge, students MSW BSW scored higher following training; stipend recipients made greater gains than non-recipients when controlling initial scores. students' results appear to approach significance; they may not be significant due low power statistical analysis. Child retention graduates is considered good by agency.
