Thus, there high interest keeping performing at their best improving those that do not perform well. Nowadays, supported by wide range enabling technologies, including Web services engines, which enable (partial)automation Information systems supporting execution typically store wealth knowledge includes models, progression information The availability such gives unprecedented opportunities get insight into processes, leads question how exploit this for facilitating improvement processes. In order answer question, we propose two different but complementary perspectives. first one, take perspective leverage data generated analyze understand actual behavior executed second design extract model patterns existing models reuse final goal thesis facilitate exploiting only gaining understanding also reusing resulting thereof. We successfully applied our approaches context service-based assisted dataflow-based mashup development. former, validated approach through end-user study usability understandability tools, while latter evaluations were experiments run dataset tool Yahoo! Pipes.
