摘要: This letter proposes a novel printed monopole antenna for ultrawideband applications with dual band-notch function. The consists of square radiating patch pair L-shaped slits, and an E-shaped slot ground plane V-shaped protruded strip, which provides wide usable fractional bandwidth more than 140% (2.89-17.83 GHz). In order to generate single characteristics, we use two slits in the patch. By adding center patch, function is achieved. Also, by inserting plane, additional resonances are excited, hence much wider impedance can be produced, especially at higher band. measured results reveal that presented offers very notched bands, covering all 5.2/5.8-GHz WLAN, 3.5/5.5-GHz WiMAX 4-GHz C-bands. designed has small size area 10 × 16 mm2, reduction 35% respect previous similar antenna.
