摘要: Side-chain liquid crystalline ionomers containing M1 (4-allyoxybenzoyloxy-4′-amylbenzoyloxy biphenyl) as mesogenic units and M2 (4-undecylenicoxy-4′-phenylazobenzene sulfonic acid) ionic were synthesized by graft copolymerization. Their properties characterized differential scanning calorimetry, polarizing optical microscopy, X-ray diffraction measurements. The results showed that introduction of nonmesogenic into polymeric structure could cause additional reduction the clearing point ionomers, compared with corresponding nonion polymers. When content increased to 8.5%, clusters mesogens in may be dispersed each other form multiple blocks, but groups LCIs did not change their type. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
