摘要: Abstract The aim of this study was to evaluate the potential use Cistus ladanifer in restoration sulfide mine Riotinto (SW, Spain). A field performed sampling three different mining and one uncontaminated sites (control) where C. already established. Soil physico-chemical properties as well nutrients toxic elements plant parts soil were evaluated. In comparison with control site, soils had a lower pH P concentration, high concentration Al Fe oxides very low Ca availability (Ca:Mg:K 4:2:1). general, concentrations Ca, Mg, K, P, S leaves stems plants from site same range whereas those As, Cd, Cu, Mn, Ni, Zn higher samples area. element accumulation pattern leaves > stem root cortex > fine roots > inner tissue roots. able translocate Ni roots shoots. chemical composition sampled area reveals that, some exceptions, has excluder behaviour for most potentially elements. efficient nutrient uptake such harsh environment which combines heavy metals provides species adaptation capacity, an important feature its re-vegetation stabilization affected by wastes.
