摘要: A high-speed network environment is considered, where the multiplexing structure based on TDM frames, whose slots are dedicated to carrying both isochronous and asynchronous traffic types, generated by a sparse possibly large user population (e.g., as in DQDB network). Different classes of distinguished, according their speed originating site, dynamics modeled continuous time Markov chains; packet represented single class. The each frame dynamically shared among all means two control levels: distributed one, acting admission connection requests independently for class, centralized periodically adjusting upper bounds number that may be assigned latter assignment performed minimizing cost function related call blocking delay. problem, which characterized multiple scales, discretized with respect events occurring an equivalent overall embedded chain. Several simulation results reported test effectiveness method ensuring Quality Service requirements.
