摘要: Brassica juncea (L.) Czern & Coss (brown mustard), originating from central Asia, is an amphidiploid (2n = 36), which arose by hybridization between B. nigra (black mustard, 2n 16) and campestris 20) (U 1935). The plant displays a wide range of forms including oleiferous, semi-oleiferous, raphidiferous, leafy types (Williams Hill 1986), may have resulted divergent selection during domestication via different genotypes the two progenitors at times localities. While knowledge regarding maternal inheritance chloroplasts mitochondria amphidiploids has been limited, study on restriction pattern chloroplast genome suggests that maternally inherited cytoplasmic originated (Erickson et al. 1983).
