摘要: Abstract Microvertebrate remains of chondrichthyans, acanthodians, actinopterygians and sarcopterygians have been collected in three sections Central Hunan, China. The investigated show Upper Devonian formations which one, the Malanbian Formation, bears localy Devonian-Carboniferous boundary. other having yielded microremains vertebrates belong to Tuzitang top Magunao Formations respectively dated as crepida marginifera conodont zones. A new species Orodus, O. aramisi nov. sp. is erected based on a tooth. significance these microremains, specially that analysed. They do not appear more importance than higher taxa for discussion boundary China, elsewhere their questionable. In Hunan Guizhou Provinces mainly two taxa, Protacrodus orientalis Acanthodes guizhouensis could provide pertinent information biostratigraphy. Although our present knowledge poor, comparisons with Belgian microvertebrate faunas same age are tentatively drawn.
