摘要: We report on a deep, multiwavelength study of the galaxy cluster MACS J1931.8-2634 us- ing Chandra X-ray, Subaru optical, and VLA 1.4 GHz radio data. This (z = 0: 352) harbors one most X-ray luminous cool cores yet discovered, with an equivalent mass cooling rate within central 50h −1 70 kpc is 700 Myr . Unique features observed in core hint to wealth past activity that has greatly disrupted original core. The optical data suggest oscillatory motion along roughly north-south direction. also observe spiral relatively cool, dense, emitting gas connected core, as well highly elongated intracluster light (ICL) surrounding cD galaxy. For such high nominal rate, this is missing metallicity peak almost always seen clusters, which suggests bulk transport out large distances from center. Extended emission AGN, east-west direction, spatially coin- cident cavities. power input required infla te these 'bubbles' estimated both reside between Pjet 4 - 14 10 45 erg s , putting it among powerful jets ever observed. combination AGN out- burst have resulted two bright ridges form north south at distance approximately 25 kpc. north- ern ridge spectral characteristics typical s: contains low temperature, density, metal rich consistent being remnant after was dis- rupted by motions. It site Hfilaments young stars. spectroscopic associated ridg e 165 agrees estimate star formation broad-band imaging ( 170 ). appears harbor profoundly entropy cluster, offers new insights into survivability context hierarchical structure formation.
