摘要: A cohort study was conducted to investigate the association between vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) polymorphisms −2578C/A, −1154G/A and −634C/G clinical outcome of renal cell carcinoma (RCC), as well interaction VEGF with tumor stage, metastasis size. total 310 RCC patients were recruited from First Affiliated Hospital Zhengzhou University (Zhengzhou, China) January 2006 December 2007, followed up until 2012. The three single nucleotide overall survival estimated using Cox’s proportional hazard regression model. median follow-up duration 34.7 months 74 succumbed due cancer during period. frequency −2578 AA genotype significantly higher in classed stages III–IV (odds ratio [OR], 0.47; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.24–0.95) larger tumors (longest diameter, >4 cm; OR, 0.44; CI, 0.22–0.89). Furthermore, −634 GG 0.68; 0.48–0.97). correlated a 2.96-fold increase risk RCC-associated mortality associated five-year rate ~25%. Therefore, present identified that −2578C/A polymorphism may be prognosis patients, interact stage
