摘要: Abstract Fifty years after the publication of Enlow and Brown's seminal paper (1956–1958), this historical analysis Professor Donald H. Enlow's works emphasizes their influence on evolution palaeohistology, comparative bone histology, biology in general. Comparative recent fossil tissues has shown great variability at tissue level (histodiversity). Historically, have greatly influenced a shift reinterpretation causes histodiversity, from phylogenetic to more functional (ontogenetic) explanations. This allows us consider issue complex causalities evolutionary biology.
