摘要: This chapter focusses on showing some taxonomic and ecological characters of the main desert truffle species in Spain as well biotechnological procedures followed to produce mycorrhizal plants with these fungal species. The full micropropagation protocol host plant Helianthemum violaceum is described for first time. Five different ways producing synthesis between truffles are reported, according type inoculum, source culture conditions used. Finally, a management established plantations discussed. Irrigation, one most important factors considered successful cultivation, should be applied at end summer during dry years when rainfall less than 150 mm second time beginning fruiting season very years.
