摘要: A dynamic communications market has continued to transform the satellite payload architecture. Commercial and defense interests have been combined resulting in multiple platforms. The complex antenna configuration bus structures created an environment where Passive Intermodulation (PIM) continues be a significant risk. Low order PIM threats now manifest themselves multi-band products via cross coupling illumination of apertures external spacecraft features. Risk Assessment Mitigation requirements need considered, not only on components, but entire satellite.
