摘要: Abstract Cold surface hardening merges the properties of specially heat-treated high-alloyed steels with structural changes induced by mechanical processes such as deep rolling. Compared to conventional transformation-induced plasticity- (TRIP-) these materials show noticeably better machinability because generated austenitic structure is stable enough avoid transforming during cutting processes. As a result stresses applied rolling tool after machining, martensitic transformation occurs in layer depth up 0.5–0.6 mm. The advantages this innovative approach include elimination thermal and combination finishing one step which performed on same machine tool. Less distortion economical savings are further new manufacturing technology.
