摘要: This study used Rasch analysis to examine the psychometric validity of Illness Perception Questionnaire–Revised assess beliefs about diabetes in 470 participants with Type 2 and 71 1 diabetes. All scales had issues, which included poorly utilised response categories, poor scale precision multidimensionality. Following re-engineering, only four eight (Consequences, coherence, Timeline cyclical Emotional representations) were psychometrically adequate according model. The diabetes-specific version provides suboptimal assessment held by patients
