摘要: A new model has been developed for the liquid phase flow pattern in bubble columns. This satisfies mass, momentum and energy balances gas phases. Further, it takes into account variations due to changes physical properties of phase. The can be used batch as well continuous (co-current counter-current) modes operation. satisfactory agreement is shown between predictions experimental observations. simplified procedure suggested quick estimation velocity profile. proposed expected useful rational prediction transfer coefficients momentum, mass heat. measurement pressure drop discussed companion paper.
