摘要: The Isotope Exchange Technique (IET) was used to simultaneously measure pure and binary gas adsorption equilibria kinetics (self-diffusivities) of CH4 N2 on pelletized 4A zeolite. experiment carried out isothermally without disturbing the adsorbed phase. selectively over by zeolite because its higher polarizability. multi-site Langmuir model described fairly well at three different temperatures. selectivity increased with increasing pressure constant phase composition temperature. This curious behavior caused differences in sizes adsorbates. diffusion into an activated process Fickian uptake both gases their mixtures. self-diffusivity order magnitude larger than that for CH4. self-diffusivities components were constants a large range surface coverages (0 < θ 0.5). from mixtures not affected presence each other, compared identical coverages.
