摘要: Background The differential diagnosis between bacterial and viral meningitis is based on the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) cellular biochemistries characteristics, it important for adequate treatment prognosis. CSF lactic acid determination considered best biomarker this diagnosis. objectives of study were to quantify levels in comparing with other infectious noninfectious central nervous system diseases; calculate operational characteristics as a meningitis.
