摘要: Bats are considered important reservoirs of rabies virus, which is paramount in the study pathogenesis this zoonosis disease, through use sensitive systems. The presence viral antigen these species shows that non-neuronal spread efficient different organs participate effectively elimination such as, salivary glands and bladder. This aimed to investigate virus samples bats submitted for laboratory diagnosis, as well disease animals. 3,930 routine diagnostic specimens were processed during period between January 2011 May 2012 by direct immunofluorescence (DIF) isolation on murine neuroblastoma cells (VICC) techniques. 58 diagnosed positive from 37 21 diagnosis 2012, representing a positivity rate 1.80%. We randomly selected 28 collect preparation inoculum proportion ratio 1:10 tongues, 1:20 bladders, inoculated volume 0.03 mL intracerebral route post-weaning Swiss mice (21 days old weighing 11g 14g). Clinical observation was performed 30 verified DIF technique diseased dead 60.7%, 50% 42.8% animals glands, tongue bladder, respectively. minimum incubation seven maximum varied 17 days. present demonstrated (salivary gland, bladder tongue) 67.8% central nervous system (CNS).The detection has been observed several studies. For studies bats, results demonstrate still good alternative. Due lack CNS practice reasons poor preservation specimen, it may be necessary nonneuronal order obtain diagnosis.
