摘要: Abstract Background New emerging strains of noroviruses (NoVs) often increase acute gastroenteritis (AGE) outbreaks worldwide. Objective We analyzed the epidemiological features and genotypic patterns NoVs in AGE outbreaks. Study design To elucidate public health impact during South Korea, a molecular investigation was performed with 318 reported from Gyeonggi province Korea period 2006 to 2013. Results were associated 102 (32.1%) Epidemiological data revealed that majority NoV student group (47.1%), patients identified schools (68.8%). genogroup (G) II 94 (92.2%) outbreaks, GII.4 predominantly 57.6% ( n =49) GII Four variants (2006b, 2007, 2009 2012 variants) emerged showed different contributions outbreak activity. The 2006b variant early years study period, subsequently displaced by Orleans variant, most recently Sydney variant. In addition, GII.2, GII.14, GII.17 have been Conclusions emergence new significantly affected activity surveillance for affecting should be intensified develop an adequate policy prevent further
