摘要: Aim To evaluate the effectiveness of a nurse intervention aimed at helping college student smokers quit smoking. Design Single-blind, pragmatic randomized controlled trial which compares multi-component intervention, tailored specifically to students, with brief advice session 6-month follow-up. Settings This study was conducted University Navarra, Spain. Participants A total 255 (age range = 18–24 years) were an group (n = 133) or control (n = 122). Findings At follow-up, cessation incidence 21.1% in compared 6.6% (difference = 14.5 confidence interval = 6.1–22.8; relative risk = 3.41, 95% interval = 1.62–7.20). difference months significantly different (difference = –2.2, interval = –3.6 –0.9). Conclusions A students managed is effective increasing among students.
