摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter describes current research in the area of “short term,” or, “working memory” animals. The memory processes provide a model for actual functioning working “real lives” many animals, and learn about temporal contingencies their environment make appropriate, adaptive response decisions. When same initial stimuli are used functions differ, they indicate different or prospective processing with differing degrees stimulus specificity. direct procedures involve (1) cues presented advance alternative test conditions trial outcomes, attendant use probe procedure; (2) changes number differences among them; (3) differential opportunities to practice remembering.
