摘要: Approximately 1-4% of children today are conceived using assisted reproductive technologies (ARTs), including in vitro fertilization (IVF). IVF is considered safe and the great majority these healthy, yet there increasing physiological molecular evidence from animal models that ART associated with postnatal metabolic cardiovascular alterations. Understanding mechanisms underlying changes determining whether they have biological significance paramount importance for optimizing design culture conditions improving health across life course. In this review, we examine present adult tissues rodent offspring generated by preimplantation manipulation gametes embryos. Although embryo can induce common transcriptional effects blastocyst, metabolomic signatures largely tissue-specific. However, pervasive oxidative stress dysfunction, indicating a lasting effect on physiology.
