Within-firm Labor Productivity across Countries: A Case Study

摘要: We use input and output data from the operations of a large international retail food chain to examine how various outlet characteristics, including differences in governance form at level, affect labor productivity both within across countries. find that execution quality, which we interpret as an additional produced by workers, has negative effect on our measure productivity, while age beyond first year operation, increases number experienced employees, do not have statistically significant larger order sizes average improve productivity.
