摘要: AIM The aim of this study was to investigate the influence calcium hydroxide dressing on filling simulated lateral canals by different obturation techniques. MATERIALS AND METHODS Sixty single-root-premolars were instrumented. Simulated drilled each third roots. teeth divided into four groups: no and condensation technique (G1), with (G2), hybrid (G3) and, (G4). maintained at 37°C in 100% humidity for 7 days, techniques performed. Radiographs taken filled or unfilled counted. Data analyzed using analysis variance (ANOVA) followed Tukey's test (a = 5%). RESULTS large number as compared technique, regardless use intracanal medication (p < 0.05). Calcium decreased both Significant differences observed when comparing same root group CONCLUSION Regardless reduced penetration material canals. CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE persistence residues reduces canals, possibly representing a potential cause failure future.
