摘要: This research examines, in a case study of Pitcairn Island, the meaning community. Such meanings emerge empirical field whereby ‘field’ offers its own cues to both issue and method. The main lesson learned from this ethnographic stems experiential nature fieldwork ‘community’ is viewed as cluster embodied dispositions practices. Influenced by Anthony Cohen's work (1978, 1985) demonstrates centrality symbolic dimensions community defining characteristic.
