摘要: Three men with primary mediastinal germ-cell tumors subsequently developed a malignant hematologic disorder characterized by pancytopenia and marrow infiltration hematopoietic blast cells. Two of these patients were classified as having acute megakaryocytic leukemia the third was believed to have myelodysplastic syndrome prominent component. Analysis clinical characteristics review literature suggest that proximate association disorders is neither coincidence nor consequence chemotherapy given for tumor. We believe this represents evolution neoplastic initially involves totipotent germ cell. These cells, when located in mediastinum, apparently acquire phenotypes are manifested clinically malignancy.
