摘要: Measurements of the mean flow and turbulent statistics were made in a 2D flat plate boundary layer over several fetches hemispherical roughness elements with various spacings using Laser Doppler Velocimetry (LDV). These measurements used to study effect spacing on wall shear stress. Methods for estimating stress by fitting data model profile evaluated against an integral momentum balance technique. Results suggest that von Karman constant may not be rough walls. Spectra surface pressure fluctuations also measured.
