摘要: Introduction: Trypanosoma cruzi is the causal agent of American Trypanosomiasis, an endemic disease in Mexico. The commensal rodents Mus musculus and Rattus rattus are reservoirs this parasite, which invades cardiac fibers develops parasite nests various lesions. Histopathological studies naturally infected scarce. Objective: To describe types frequencies microscopic lesions tissue M . R with T , captured Merida, Materials methods: were suburban environments Merida. Cardiac was extracted processed by paraffin inclusion technique, hematoxylin eosin-stained. observation made a conventional microscope all affection degree identified. Results: Eight tissues seven studied. Parasite found 46,6 % (7/15); specifically: 37,5 (3/8) 57,1 (4/7) inflammatory infiltrate most frequent lesion (100 %). Other were: degeneration (53,3 %, 8/15), congestion blood vessels (40 6/15) necrosis (33,3 5/15). Discussion: observed described experimental animal models humans Trypanosomiasis. identified as significant chronic stage disease. Conclusion: associated infection, confirms that studied parasite.
