摘要: Access, availability, and quality of water must be in sustainable supply for humans to become secure. Sustainable is ensured through efficient use on one hand, integrated approach management the other hand. The informal settlements, where majority urban population lives, are not covered by connections prudent water-user preference necessary ensure water. purpose this study was examine effect safe Obunga slums, specific objectives were assess household preference, determine Ex post facto research design adopted a 2,507 households divided into four administrative units, Amin’s table stratified sampling technique used select 331 questionnaire administration. Test retest expert consultations reliability validity respectively. Questionnaire return rate yielded 254 respondents representing 76.7%. It found that slums have poor most moderate hypothesis dependent therefore accepted. concluded increased conservation curtailment behavior ensures security households.
