摘要: Observations were made on the pre- and postnatal development of photoreceptors in central region retina diurnal rhesus monkey. Histologic findings level at birth revealed a macula with characteristic adult foveal depression. ultrastructural receptor inner outer segments that well differentiated even birth. An evaluation prenatal morphogenesis indicated initial differentiation may take place as early 100–125 days after conception. At 100 conception, pigment epithelium consisted single layer cuboidal cells cytoplasmic content smooth endoplasmic reticulum, but was only sparsely populated mitochondria rough reticulum. The photoreceptor contained vesiculation supranuclear region, while incipient outbudding ciliary processes. By 125 postconception, such specializations increases reticulum mitochondria, greater organelle complexity. In there arrays closed bimembranous discs, apical tip segments. A comparison changes choroid interstitial zone comprising cell processes suggested these areas represent critical aspect maturation retina.
