16,000-RPM Interior Permanent Magnet Reluctance Machine with Brushless Field Excitation

摘要: This paper introduces a high speed brushless field excitation (BFE) machine that offers torque per ampere (A) core length at low and weakened flux speed. Lower losses speeds, are attained by reducing the excitation. Safety reliability increased weakening when winding short-circuit fault occurs. For high-speed motor bridges link rotor punching segments together must be thickened for mechanical integrity; BFE can ensure sufficient needed. Projected efficiency map including of coils confirms advantage this technology.
