摘要: Abstract Some properties of multiwire drift chambers are reviewed. The discussion includes methods for the resolution left/right ambiguity, determination “second coordinate” in a chamber (i.e. coordinate parallel to anode wire) and double track resolution. Experimental results performance operated at high low gas pressure reported. second part report deals with recent development pictorial chambers. Two systems described detail: “jet system” developed Heidelberg “time projection chamber” Berkeley. Test presented. aspects particle identification discussed.
