摘要: The CLUE(Conversion of Land Use and its Effects) model is one the most widely applied models with approximately 30 applications in different regions globe focusing on a wide range land-use change trajectories including agricultural intensification, deforestation, land abandonment urbanisation. tool to better understand processes that determine changes spatial pattern use explore possible future at regional scale. This chapter describes functioning illustrates potential for scenario-based simulation two case studies, which rural landscape eastern part Netherlands strongly urbanized watershed surrounding Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.
