摘要: Abstract Clinical simulation is used with increasing frequency in prelicensure nursing education curricula. Nurse educators intuitively sense that the experience a powerful student learning strategy, yet much of published research limited to self-report data about affective variables such as self-confidence and satisfaction. With increased use simulation, there corresponding need measure impact effectiveness this teaching strategy on fulfillment stated outcomes at both course program level. This article presents framework for assessing clinical experiences using Astin's (1991) input–environment–outcome assessment model. Approaches measurement key input, environmental, outcome indicators are described, an organizing structure measuring learner performance proposed.
