摘要: The Triangle Orientation Discrimination (TOD) test method was applied to characterize thermal and visual range performance of the Gatekeeper Electro Optical Security System. developed by Thales Nederland BV, is currently in use with Royal Netherlands Navy. system houses uncooled infrared colour TV cameras providing up 360° view azimuth. images displayed operator are automatically optimized based on scene intensity distribution. Because this built-in scene-based optimization, proper measurement requires careful surround illumination TOD setup over a large part camera Field Of View. tests provided very accurate threshold estimates relatively small observer differences. resulting curves that sensor terms acuity contrast sensitivity can be used as input Target Acquisition model predict for operational scenarios.
