摘要: Ni–HPW/SiO2 catalysts with H3PW12O40 (HPW) loading in the range of 0.1–8% were prepared by a modified sol–gel method. The as-prepared bimodal pore distribution not only possess relatively large and surface area, but exhibit high activity for ethylbenzene hydrogenation even presence thiophene up to 640 ppm. It is evident that nickel oxide particles are small well-dispersed on these from X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) transmission (TEM) characterization. results temperature-programmed reduction hydrogen (H2-TPR), desorption ammonia (H2 NH3-TPD) also strongly suggest interaction between Ni component HPW takes place, consequently remarkable H2 spillover considerable increase acidic site concentration catalysts. Further, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) pyridine adsorption show most acid sites related Lewis metal species therefore prone be electron-deficient. confirmed plays critical role improvement sulfur resistance Ni-based
