摘要: Abstract Non-precious NiMoO 4 nanorods with carbon and graphene have been designed for methanol oxidation via one pot hydrothermal method. The physicochemical electrocatalytic features of these catalysts are characterized. Among the three catalysts, modified shows an enhanced catalytic activity in terms current density, onset potential, cyclic stability high tolerance to intermediate towards electro-oxidation. Moreover, /C catalyst delivers a density 49 mA cm −2 at low potential 0.45 V ( vs . Hg/HgO) 1 M KOH 2.0 M electrolyte. This greater is attributed unique 1D microstructure well distributed carbonaceous material, which enhances efficient transport electron/ion kinetics electrode electrolyte interfaces. From this observation, it concluded that could be promising alternate non-noble electrocatalysts direct fuel cell (DMFC) applications.
