摘要: Particles suspended in a fluid that is exposed to an acoustic standing wave experience time-averaged force drives them either the pressure nodes or anti-nodes of wave. Several filter designs have been successfully implemented using this small particles liquids with low flow rates and cross-sectional areas. It has suggested filtration solid out gas, such as carbon air (smoke), would be possible application based particle separation. This study shows limiting factors, both power requirements design designed for filtering smoke across large shown while possible, needed impractical. also operating within certain settling time parameters optimizes energy usage filter.
