摘要: Lesbian, bisexual, and queer (LBQ) nonbirth parents have a unique role in the parenting spectrum. The term parent refers to expecting, nonpregnant partner. Previous work suggests that there are mental health stressors for LBQ parents; however, research addressing this topic is scant. This qualitative study explored factors affect wellness during pregnancy. Results organized into four themes: biology, connectedness, relatedness; social recognition; support; changes has important implications clinical practice, policy development, promotion activities.
